Epoxy resin active complex has advantages of small volume, small shrinkage,good insulation and good fire resistance after solidification.It often adopt epoxy resin for pouring and sealing in electric industry.Epoxy resin active complex seal capacitor, inductor,fuse protector,high-tension switch and so on.
The pouring material of dry-type transformer which include polyester resin active complex and epoxy resin active complex. This two compounds have no differences with electric performance and mechanical behavior.They exist great differences after solidification such as shrinkage.After solidification ,the volume shrinkage of polyester resin is more higher than epoxy resin complex which is easy to crack. Due to the strong adhesion of epoxy resin after solidification which shows better globality and no void that reduce the partial discharge.So the 80% of resin pouring dry-type transformer use epoxy active compound.We call it SC dry-type transformer.
Germany has produced the first epoxy pouring dry -type transformer since1964 which developed quickly and appeared many kinds of manufacturing technology.The dry -type transformer we produced most of them are epoxy pouring.Because of epoxy resin is equipped with high insulation, mechanical strength, moistureproof and dustproof after casting.
