Insulation Structure of Different Grades of Insulating Materials
The role of insulating material is to isolate the charged parts of different electric potential in the electrical equipment. Different insulation materials have different grades and heat-resistant temperatures. Today, the insulation structure of different grades of insulating materials is introduced.
Y 90 °C: an insulating structure consisting of unimpregnated cotton yarn, silk, paper and other materials or its composition.
A 105 °C: an insulating structure impregnated with or immersed in liquid dielectric (such as cotton yarn, silk and paper in transformer oil or its composition).
E 120 °C: insulation structure composed of synthetic organic film, synthetic organic enamel and other materials.
B 130 °C: insulation structure made of suitable resin for bonding or impregnating, coating mica, glass fiber, asbestos and other inorganic materials, suitable organic materials or their compositions.
F 155 °C: the insulation structure made of suitable resin for bonding or impregnating, coating mica, glass fiber, asbestos and other inorganic materials, suitable organic materials or their compositions.
H 180 °C: the insulation structure made of suitable resin, such as silicone resin, bonded or impregnated, coated mica, glass: fiber, asbestos and other materials or their compositions.
C above 180 °C: insulation structure made of suitable resin for bonding or impregnating, coating mica, glass fiber, and impregnated mica, ceramics, quartz and other materials or their compositions.
