How to Determine Heat Resistance of Insulating Materials

For all kinds of different insulation materials, it will be different in heat resistance. Generally, in various electrical applications, it is possible to determine the heat resistance of the insulator according to its chemical names. Furthermore, the insulating materials used in the insulation of electrical products may be affected by other materials. In addition, the heat resistance of various materials depends on their specific functions in the insulation.

As insulating materials used in electrical products, materials evaluation serves two purposes: one is to, as an integral part of the electrical insulation structure, evaluation of a certain material, another is used alone or as a simple combination of insulation structure evaluation as part of a particular material.

As long as the appropriate insulation structure test or experience proves its some kind of insulating material has satisfactory running characteristics, it can determine whether the material is suitable for a particular insulation structure, without considering the heat resistance of the material itself.
