The “G” in G10 represents glass fiber, and 10 represents 10% glass fiber. The G10 epoxy plate is made of glass fiber cloth and epoxy resin. It has a certain mechanical strength without deformation, and has good insulation strength, chemical resistance, radiation resistance and thermal shock resistance, good tensile strength, flexural strength and low temperature adaptability.

G10 is a high-pressure fiberglass laminate, a kind of composite material.[1] It is created by stacking multiple layers of glass cloth, soaking in epoxy resin, and compressing the resulting material under heat until the epoxy cures.[2][3] It is manufactured in flat sheets, most often a few millimeters thick.
